Camp Caravan, Royalston, Massachusetts.

A grey, warm, beginning day at Camp Caravan.

12.54  Electric-looping guitar music at breakfast.

Guitar meeting at 10.30. Continuing to establish familiarity with the basic forms; a small Inner Circle of 9 to make the patterns clearer.

And if in doubt, have a whizz!

Personal meetings beginning just after 11.30.

14.07 Good comments at lunch on the evolving forms & patterns; their nomenclature; an examination & testing of circulating, including small group examples standing & clapping, and clapping around the table.

Victor presented an example from his small group, of a satisfying form: alternating (5-2) + (3-1) to the left. This led to discussion of how & where & what happened with +2 or -1 or - 2, and how do we understand this?

How may we arrive at a position where a Crafty from one part of the world can meet with a Team from another, and immediately know what to do when a form is called.

14.33  The Variegation Victor I:

(5-2) alternating (3-1), in a circle of 7, moving to the left…

14.39  The sky has opened & Hellboy Tom has arrived.

21.30 Evening T-ai Chi was held in the conservatory, because of rain.

Silence visited at dinner. A Happy Birthday played by a clearly-recognisable trio-version of Horn Up Your Ass, although they weren’t fully sure of their identity & lineage.

22.34  A few words on the morning sitting.
